The Submarine Industrial Base Council represents the more than 5,000 businesses across all 50 states that make up the nation’s submarine industrial base. Our members seek to educate policymakers and the public about the nation’s ability to design, build and maintain submarines—a unique and vital part of America’s national security structure.
Urge Congressional Support of FY20 Submarine Funding
Please reach out to your members and urge Congress to support FY20 sub appropriations. You can do so through the Legislative Action Center or using the below editable template letter with specifically laid out line-item requests.
Supplier Days 2019
The SIBC hosted its 28th annual Supplier Days in Washington, DC on February 26th and 27th, 2019. On Tuesday, February 26th, suppliers attended a series of briefings, followed by a reception and dinner at the Capitol Hilton. On Wednesday, February 27th, suppliers attended the annual SIBC Congressional Breakfast on Capitol Hill and met with their members of Congress.

NDIA & SIBC Prospective Submarine Suppliers’ Conference
National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Delaware Valley Chapter partnered with the Submarine Industrial Base Council (SIBC) to deliver an important program to inform you of the developments, budget and opportunities for the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) in the greater Philadelphia and Delaware Valley region in the building of the current and next class of submarines. This event took place November 8, 2017 in Philadelphia, PA. The briefings have been posted here.
